size/offset check on new wheels?

I have a 2016 F32 435i with the stock 704 M sport suspension (non-adaptive) on the factory staggered 19 inch setup.

I'd like to upgrade to aftermarket rims to fill more of the wheel well & swap to a square setup to be able to properly rotate them - and I also want to keep the suspension stock.

apex wheels suggests that getting 4 apex arc-8 19x9 et28 with 245/35-19 will fit without any rubbing on a "stock or slightly lowered car" - no fender roll or negative camber needed.

the two other setups similar to my situation (filling the wheel wells without lowering the car) were:

https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...020367&page=10
(but this is staggered)

https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...5%2F19+sqwuare
(but this is 8.5 inch width and idk if the m sport suspension is higher on the F30)

i'm kind of a wheel noob - will this square setup work out on my car? wanted to see if anyone else had experience with this.

imo, you should get the Arc-8 in 19x9.5, ET33, with 255/35/19

here's a thread with the said setup, except in ET35. ET33 will have 2mm more space from the strut.

i run 19 9' square on 255 no issues, 9.5 are too wide for the fronts
slicer on the other hand is rocking it but he had shorter bump stops installed.

EDIT: and H&R lowering springs. on xdrive. Would i be ok with the M sport suspension?

It'll be fine with m-sport susp. Again, compared to ET35, ET33 will move everything 2mm further out, 2mm more clearance inside, 2mm more lip poke outside. Kushpatel also has 9.5 ET35 255/35/19 on his lowered F30.

Would more poke cause any issues with the fender? Honestly the et35 is looking kind of perfect to me.

9.5 et33 255/35/19, will not have any issues, however if 9.5 et35 looks perfect, there are more than a few non apex rims with those specs to consider.

Thanks - do you have any brand recommendations? Rohana looks like they stock 19x9.5 et35 in a few rims but I don't think Rohana wheels fit BMW center caps like Apex does.

i have recommendations but you need to narrow the choices down with total budget(wheels/tires/tpms), what face style, etc. i'm not informed on what aftermarket wheels accept bmw centercaps. adding this criteria makes it more difficult.
EDIT i've seen bmw centercaps on tsw, beyern, vmr. i'm sure there are more but you'll have to search.

after re-reading your initial post, since you want to reduce wheel gap without lowering another alternative is 245/40/19(26.7" diameter) square on 19x8.5"(or9"), ET35ish, the offset cannot be too low or 245/40/19 will rub the fenderwell when turning full lock. this will reduce the gap you have now by 0.35" but also raise the total vehicle height by the same...

i realize i might be sounding kind of picky but this is kind of what i was imagining in my head haha.

i want a set of square 19" black 5 double-spoke rims that fit OEM TPMS & OEM center caps. Apex EC-7 was my first choice since they explicitly claim compatibility with OEM caps. I want to throw those floating OEM center caps on them.

i don't NEED 9.5" wide wheels - 9" is also fine with me. I have to turn full lock to park in my building so rubbing is definitely a concern for me. I would prefer to leave the ride height as is since the 704 M sport suspension is the perfect height for me.

i know staggered drives better & looks better (imo) but won't a square setup save me thousands on tires? lol

with stock suspension, if you run 255/35/19 the ET28 ARC-8 might rub the fenderwell liner at full-lock, so i'd get the 19x9 ET30 SM-10 if tire size is 255/35/19. the extra 2mm makes a difference.

fwiw, with 255 wide front tires and widenend front and rear track, it may increase your turning circle by some small amount, if that matters to you.

If apex, id get 9.5 et33 arc-8 or 9.5 et35 sm-10 with 255/35/19. For sm-10 i'd actually get 8.5" et35 since it's face profile 2 as well.

If you like the package their offering, that's fine too
