How are you liking the AWE?

I got the Perf midpipe also w/out resonator + I have hi flow catted DP - Cold Starts are fairly brutal & loud not in a good way

I'm sure neighbors in my plan luv me already

Once out of cold start it's the best exhaust I have heard, no drone

I'm going to install a 12" Vibrant Resonator in one of the AWE midpipe sections exactly where OEM res was to see if I can quiet down the Cold Start w/out ruining rest of sound

I love it, it was my very 1st mod over a year ago and I still love it. In a non-bias opinion I think its the best aftermarket exhaust for the F3x series.

I'm running it with the stock midpipe and Fabspeed catted DP, like you said the first 30 seconds of a cold start is brutal, and I'm sure with the performance midpipe its even worst haha. But 30 seconds later it clams down and the sound gets better and better as the car warms up.
I noticed the sound got even better after about 4-5k miles of break in, it just sounds really good now. I'm running it on BM3 Stage 2 with the burbles set to OTS, I've spoken to Fabspeed about burble settings on the HJS cat and they said its ok as long as Im not running race fuel (which I am not), lifetime warranty so if it breaks I'll blame them.

let me know how vibrant resonator works, if it helps I might add the midpipe too!
