F31 - boot trim removal

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a guide to removing the boot/trunk trim from the touring?

I've purchased the separator bar thing and associated boot/trunk floor fixings but upon trying to remove the boot/trunk trim it seems that almost everything - including the plastic cladding around the hatch opening, even going up the sides - has to come out.

I need to rivet fixings to the metal of boot floor but removing vast amounts of BMW is not what I expected. I'm that close to paying BMW to do it.

Any help would be appreciated. ta

Hardest part for me was the top part on the sides. I never figured it out but was watching a video the other day and found this out. To remove the top part on the sides you have to remove the C pillar by removing the little Air Bag cap. There is a screw behind that. Everything on the sides is pretty easy after that. You'll need a torx bit to remove the screws hiding under the cargo hold downs.

Check out 7:38 for a quick shot.
