Used CPO Financing rates

HI everyone, I am looking to purchase a CPO car very soon and I wanted to know what rates BMW Financial is offering right now for Tier 1 credit rating.
My score is currently around 780-790

Thanks,

Not sure about USA, but in Canada the CPO rates are fixed. Your credit score is irrelevant.

The APR is actually negotiable.

The dealer I bought my car at offered 2.99% initially, but I was already approved for 2.6% at my credit union. The dealer later offered 1.99% if I buy extended warranty at the scene. I didn't want to add additional $3K on the principle so I stuck with my own credit union, plus I could always get it extended before factory one expires.

This was September 2018 and my credit score at that time was around 760. The mentioned rates were for a 48 months.

Great feedback. I'm starting to shop around for rates to keep my F31. My credit union is pretty competitive on rates, but I completely forgot about the BMWFS CPO rates. Nice to know the extra cost of CPO or warranty may negate the benefits of the better rate.

For warranty, you should check with your credit union to see if they offer mechanical breakdown coverage. Specifically, named exclusion coverage.

FWIW, it's hard to beat factory extended warrantees when it comes to service. Everything from the claims process, to loaner cars, to just getting work approved is so much faster and more pleasant. Of the four cars I've owned with extended warrantees, the 3 factory (GM/Zurich, Mazda, Subaru) were pretty much pain free when it came to claim repairs and speed. The 3rd party warranty company (CarMax/MaxCare), nothing but fighting with.
