MST Cold Air Intake

Hi guys, I am new to BMW's come from a world of old school muscle cars so please bear with me. I am interested in installing a MST CAI system into my 340i and was curious is it as simple as bolting it in and away I go. Or will the computer have a fit and throw a code?
Cheers

It won't throw a code just cause the intake is on there, but all aftermarket intakes have the potential to give you mass air flow error. Those errors are just background codes though, shouldn't ever stop you driving or even show up in iDrive.
Enjoy the extra whoosh whoosh!

Hi Chris,

I've got customers that we've done MST intakes, VRSF intakes and Injen intakes. All are very open pod style systems. These have been installed on a variety of BMW platforms, from M3s, M2s and 328s and 240i. None of which have shown up any adverse codes or MAF errors.

Feel free to hit me up via PM for extra info.

Cheers
Andy
