Asking Price:
USD 2,600.00

Item Interest
I am selling my OEM style 404 20 inch wheels. I purchased these wheels new from my local BMW dealer. They have only been on the car during the summer. The wheel package from BMW came with Pirelli PZero runflats that were horrible for both handling and road noise. Those tires only lasted one summer before going in the bin. I purchased the Pilot Sport 4S's this spring and they have about 8,000 miles on them. They all have between 6/32nd and 7/32nd of tread. They are much better than the original runflats. They are super quiet and really sticky. The front wheels are 225/35R20 and the rears are 255/30R20. The wheels come with the TPMS sensors for F30's up to production date 3/14. These wheels came off of my 2013 335i xdrive with Msport pack and grey Brembo brakes in the front. I traded the car with the winter setup on it. I have not seen many other F30's running these wheels and they always got looks when they were on the car. The sale price of the wheel package from BMW was $3260 with an original MSRP of $4150. The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's were over $1100.

You can view the BMW spec sheet for the wheels here https://www.shopbmwusa.com/PRODUCT/3...L-AND-TIRE-SET

You can view the specs on the Pilot Sports here
https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...ggered%20Tires

I would recommend having the wheels balanced before putting them on as a few of the weights fell off when I was scrubbing the inside of the wheels to get rid of the brake dust. These wheels are near mint condition. I have numerous additional photos of the front, back, and tread depth on all wheels that I can send. I would prefer local pickup in Harrisburg Pennsylvania, but will ship at buyers expense. Any questions please feel free to message me.

I'd be curious to see where you got $1000 to $1500 as when I listed them I looked everywhere and could not find any listed for sale or any that have sold in the forums.

Again thanks for the valuable input, but why pay me when trolling the classifieds is free?

It's not trolling, it's responsible price controlling on the forums. This is a community of guys helping each other out, not ripping each other off with unrealistic prices on classified items. Somebody is going to tell you, may as well be me.

Responsible price controlling? Right.... you said you don't like the price, but offer no evidence, no comparisons, no rational reasoning other than "no one will pay that bro". Very responsible of you. My mistake you're not a troll, but more of a BMW forum vigilante like Batman. Thank you for your service. Keep fighting the good fight.

Just so I'm being crystal clear here I have no problem with someone offering a critique of my price, I do however take issue with your post because other than commenting your opinion you offer nothing of substance and to this point you can't support your opinion and should probably keep it to yourself.

As for you protecting other forum members from getting ripped off I'll reiterate how I came up with the price. I calculated my price based on 3 factors... first, MSRP $5250 ($4150 list price for the wheels and $1100 price for the PS4S's), second, what I paid $4800 ($3600 for the wheels from the dealer, $1100 for the tires from tire rack, and $100 for mounting), and lastly, the fact they are used. Wheels with two summers of use and no flaws should retain at least 50 to 60 percent of the new price. I based that off of what I saw other wheels listed for versus the new price and taking into account condition. Based on that calculation I came up with $1800 for the wheels which is 50% of what I paid, not 50% of MSRP or 50% of the $3260 you can buy them for now. I did the same with the tires. I have seen other members post PS4S's for $500-$800 for 18 inch tires. I accounted for use and condition of the tires. They have about 2/3 of their tread life left give or take so that would be 2/3 of $1100, but I rounded down to $700. Add the $100 to mount the PS4S's and that is a grand total of $2600. Based on the information I have available that is what I think is a fair asking price. I provided plenty of photos to show the condition in detail and explained all of the pricing information on the original post with links to every price I quoted.

If you don't want to pay my price then don't. I'm not asking you to, but don't troll my post and claim to be a hero. I am in no way trying to rip anyone off and don't see any reason why my figures are not reasonable. If you're going to call me out for my price back it up with something more than what you think. I put a great deal of effort into coming up with what I think is a fair asking price. There are no other posts past or present for me to compare to so I did the best I could. Don't accuse me of trying to rip people off without facts to back it up. Show me the same wheels and tires for a lower price and I will adjust accordingly, but if all you are going to do is lob comments about what you would or wouldn't pay then you have no reason to comment on my post and are nothing more than a troll, but I guess you are entitled to your opinion on that as well.
