Injen short ram intake

Ordered the injen short ram for my 2013 328. Anyone have it on their 328? Any feedback?

Sorry but, it's supposed to do what? I saw the dyno charts and I don't see how it's possible on a turbo car. Increase in power at max boost?

Injen states a 10hp/22tq gain lol. But we'll see about that. Mostly for sound

I had it and sold it two weeks later. It did not do anything for power. Not even the butt dyno felt anything. LOL...It looked good though under the hood and it sounded OK.

You have a lot more done to your car than me. I just did the intake. Maybe with all your other mods it helped?? I dunno. I heard the turbo and the sound of air rushing in more, but that was it.

ah yea good point maybe dp & exhaust helped with that, eventually what really matters in terms of performance DP, FMIC, tune and good fuel, other are just either cosmetic or throttle enhancer.

They are mainly for sound. You need to combine them with a tune to really get any performance gains. The power is in the increased boost.

Did you have the 328 or 330?

Nothing changed in the dyno?

I'm worrying if there is any side effects like lower mpg or lower HP

Congrats!!

Its our most popular intake for this car.

Sounds great and dyno graphs have shown a slight improvement in power.

probably not going to feel the increase of hp (if there was any increase at all). I did it for the sound. the woosh sound from the DV dump is intoxicating to me... love mine just for that reason alone.

afe shows a 13hp/15tq gain for a intake on a N20.

I don't understand how so many people who have no real working knowledge of performance say all cold air/high flow intakes don't do anything for performance. Especially on a turbo engine that needs as free flowing air as it can get.

NA engines, sure you're Lucky to get 3-5 hp and that's if it's a cold air not a short ram sucking in hot, under hood air. But to discount the millions of dollars these companies invest in R&D and manufacturing to bring these parts to market because your "butt dyno" didn't feel a difference 🙄
