is there a special OTS backend flash map, or do we just run the jb4 along with the stage 1 or 2 ots map. is there any special steps we need to take to add a boodmod3 flash to jb4, or is it the same? I'm looking to just run my jb4 with bm3 as a Backend and get an e85 map when it comes out of beta

Yes they integrate JB4 and BEF for users such as yourself who still want to use JB4 and or PI and meth with it or just JB4 and BEF. Contact Dzenno at PTF and he can help you set up your tune.

now that this is released, anyone have any dyno sheets or logs with any OTS maps for people who aren't PS2? I'm going to be sending my dme in soon and want to get a grasp at what stage 1, fbo, e30 ect.. cars can make.

No you can get a standalone system. Snow is one, there's another one that sells the setup AEF or something but not 100% if that's correct name.

Lol glad you found it useful. I didn't think to do a video with my iPhone. But now that I have a GoPro hmmmm maybe.

I didn't do Reinstall since it's pretty much just all in reverse but there were some tricky snags when fitting it back on.

I've literally had my DME out about 6-7 times and now that I unlocked it and run bm3 it'll never need to come back out. It takes me like 15 min to take out a an N55 dme now. M3/4 is a whole different animal tho stupid intercooler

I know 2 friends not on forums who have had Snow Meth on their 335 & Flash tune only cars and now putting it for their F80. So Snow seems solid. I also heard of guys using AEM meth seems pretty popular.

Yes, there are separate OTS backend flash maps for the JB4 if that's what you're looking to run.

We should have some stock N55 turbo dyno numbers very soon. We're getting an M235i track edition in today for some OTS map development and dyno tuning.

Haha, I was kidding about the re-installation and video. Your removal DIY was extremely useful even for the non mechanically inclined like myself. 6-7 minutes?! Wow! it took me half a Sunday evening..lol, but then I was taking my time and I have a JB4 and PI kit I had to work around..damn wire guides. Just got my unlocked ECU back today and will be re-installing it this evening. Let the fun times begin!

No no lol I've had it out about "6-7" times. And I've got it down now with all the correct tools and knowing tricks and shortcuts takes me about 15 min to actually pull the dme out. 6 min I wish lol.

On a bad day 20 min .

I've also removed one of the harness brackets on top that houses the engine cover post so with that being out of the way it's much easier.

Boostmod3 by it self
Boostmod3 + JB4
Wich would make more power?

Do i get more control with the jb4 piggy backing on the reflash and What is still being control by the JB4?

Just asking cause i saw the f30 from brazil making more power with the piggyback on the bostmod
