Brake pads worn off after 12k miles

I've bought ATE 34116874331 along with ATE rotors for my F30 LCI 163 HP diesel an year ago, and 12k miles later they are gone !

Indeed, my driving style may be a little more aggressive, and hard on braking, but i didn't did any track days or something like that, is just a 2.0 diesel.

My brake pistons are not locked-up, i've checked the rims for overheating.
So, fake parts or to aggressive driving style ?

I find 12k miles exaggerated for front brakes.

Probably just aggressive braking, or the type of roads you're driving (i.e. are you driving on big, open roads or at low speeds through towns, or doing mountain passes) - OE pads are not known for their longevity.

A set of OE pads would last about 300 miles on track

The exact same thing happened with my original pads, both front and rear. The cause was insufficient lubrication of the pad/carrier interfaces, which rusted, causing the inner pads to stick.

The pads, where they ride in the carriers, and the carriers, #2 on this page:

They had not been properly lubricated at the factory on one side of the car, front and rear. I had to replace them at 11,000 miles. The other side, which had been lubed, were fine.
