I thought so but that's not happening with my car at all.
Take it in for the software update then. After 2013 MY onward doesn't have the ASS reset stays in last drive mode

Definitely not switching to eco-pro mode. If anything it stays in Comfort because I forget to change to Sport. It re-engages even when I turn it off and see the confirmation that it's off on the dash.

Best to take it to your dealer, they may have coded it incorrectly.

Congrats on the MT choice. Save them Manuals.

Remember this is a brand new car, brand new brakes, so you have to go easy on them.

You xannot expect the brakes to be fully operational until they are a bit worn in...

As for ASS, it should be remebering the last mode you used.

The early deliveries of F30 were set in ASS ON at every start.

I had to code mine to ASS OFF, but you can have it coded in any other way you want.

We really need a new acronym for Auto Start Stop.

Though I am quite used to the system now, the acronym still seems appropriate.

I like the feature with 6MT though since I tell it when I want it to turn off with the clutch

My F36 with M Sport brakes were also a bit soft as well, I don't know if its by design or what but I got used to em and they stop really well.

Glad to hear you like the rev-matching feature, I've never tried it myself so it'll be interesting to get used to it because I always rev-match myself...

And I feel your pain on the waiting... I've been waiting since mid October of last year just because dealers here don't have a lot of allocation of 6MT let alone RWD. I'm kinda surprised yours went into production as soon as it did.
I also do my own rev-matching, but I also double clutch so for me when I do it the computer doesn't interfere or merely fixes it if I don't blip enough. It is nice to have it, though, since I didn't learn to heal and toe while braking so at those times - or when I am lazy - I let the computer do it. I was afraid of that feature but now I like having it. I can use it when I feel like it or I can continue having fun rev-matching myself.

I can't blip, I can't double clutch. Probably why I like the rev-matching feature so much. Never burnt out a clutch though.

Very true about new brakes and a point I forgot about. Will give them time to break in.

Beautiful, congrats! I love the coral red interior! Are you considering a rear spoiler and the M-Performance rear diffuser?

Do only the 6MT shifters not light up? My ZF shifter lights up in that signature BMW orange at night.

I like both a lot but they are rather expensive for not adding anything in terms of performance.

Doesn't look like my 6MT shifter lights up like it did on my e92 M3. Certainly not a deal breaker by any means but thought that was oddly left out.

Congrats on the new car. I got the same winter wheel setup and it is the best you can get for the winter.

Also, you can adjust the height of the headlights. I did. You can use just the screwdriver you have in the trunk. The white plastic adjustment screw is just behind the headlight, a bit deep but not too deep. You'll find it once you know it is there. Well, I don't have the automatic headlights but try to look for it anyway.
I adjusted the headlamps. Thanks.

Why do you double-clutch? Out of habit? It isn't necessary at all on modern manuals (though I'm sure you knew that! Ha!).

Out of habit but also, once I learned it it makes me feel good that I can. Too bad I didn't learn heal and toe. It is easier to practice blipping or double clutching because you can practice any time while you are driving at a constant speed.

Besides being a lot of fun, doesn't it reduce wear on the synchros - in theory at least?
