Engine Oil Temp is 205
Normally my car runs around 240. I don't know if I am crazy, or just paying closer attention. My commute is about 25 miles down the highway. I am pretty sure that if the temperature is up around 235 - 240, then I turn on my AC, it slowly goes down. I've seen it even lower than 205 after 30 minutes of driving.
I almost always drive in Sport + mode. Is this normal?

Let me guess, it just got warm out? The oil thermostat seems to open or close differently based on the ambient temp, plus when you turn ac on, the fans start running as well.
When the ambient temps are around 70F or so, my oil will run up to 240-245, but as soon as it's near or above 80, it runs closer to 210-215. |

Warm enough to use the AC.
I just don't recall seeing this in the past.

The ambient temp reading I saw today was 118. My oil temp was sitting at 210. My tune has a lower ambient temp threshold to enable active cooling. My oil temps have been running low 200's since the beginning of summer. Coolant temps are also lower.
