I need help with my exhaust setup!

I'm working with a local shop for an exhaust setup for my car but I am encountering an issue.

The car is a F30 318i with the B38 engine.

Number 1 was stock, I tried 2 and it sounded WAY too loud, so number 3 was created. The volume of number 3 is perfect but at low RPM(1500-2500), the sound is too choked and muffled. Pops and bangs are greatly reduced and almost non-existent.

How do I fix this?

Everything else is perfect. I just hate having almost no sound within that deadzone low RPM. It picks up great right after tho. I have also tried removing the resonator, but it is too raspy and felt a loss of low end torque.

Go back to #2 and go for a quieter muffler. Try a magnaflow or flowmaster.
