F80 illuminated shifter on F30

Has anyone done this? Talking about a manual shift knob. If so, what's the process to have it wired/how difficult is it?

Is the lighting power run already there? I would be interested in this as well.

Doubtful. No reason it would be there for f32.

You would need run wire from source.
Wait so would this not work for an F30? Assuming the F32 and the F30 have the same wiring of course.

Lights need power source.

Lights will work with power.

BMW does not wire for things not in that series.
I was confused because the picture you replied with was of an F80 shifter...on an F80. And I am asking for my car...which is an F30. No need for a sarcastic comeback. Thank you though.

.
"Really should be simple and straightforward" that's literally what you replied with first. IF ITS NOT THERE FOR AN F32 THEN ITS NOT THERE FOR AN F30. Instead of making a sarcastic and condescending comment check what you reply with first.
