TRADE F32 Aluminum dash trim for woodgrain, black or Anthracite?

I love my 435i M Sport, but the aluminum dash trim and door handle trim is just way too cool for an old fart like me.

I'm looking to trade my aluminum trim for black or Anthracite trim. (Must be for a 2-door coupe, not a 4-door Gran Coupe.)

A 1-to-1 trade is preferred, but I can do a straight purchase if the price is right. If we swap, removal and installation are a SNAP -- just do a search on YouTube for "BMW F30 How to Remove, Wrap and Re-Install Interior Trim" and watch the first 4 minutes. It's the same procedure as F32.

My aluminum trim is in perfect shape. Any takers?

(Pics on request)

Thanks!

Paul

Another old fart here with aluminum trim. Mine was showing some scratches, so I got some woodgrain vinyl and wrapped it (see https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...postcount=5072).

Some advantages to wrapping: a wide range of patterns is available - woodgrain, leather, marble, forged carbon, etc. - so you can pick something to your taste. The wrap is reversible and in the meantime protects the underlying trim from any (further) damage.

Some disadvantages to wrapping: Takes some time and patience; requires a hair dryer or heatgun to stretch to a perfect fit. Super high-gloss finishes like some OEM trim may not be available.

Hi The TRG,

Sounds do-able -- I think.

Keep in mind that my '14 435i is a coupe and your '16 340xi is a sedan, so if we swapped, you wouldn't get any trim for the back door pulls.

Question for the group: Is the trim for the dash, console and FRONT doors the same between the coupe and sedan?

Thx!

Paul

Yes - though not F33

There are slight difference in his LCI and your non-LCI trim though that might cause both of you cosmetic issues.

OP wants darker like Ash.

Anthracite has a brown tint to it in sunlight.

The actual term means Life Cycle Impulse, which to me means jack shit lol, mid life update makes more sense.

Midlife Sales Booster is perhaps even more appropriate
