M4 xDrive WTF
Im pretty clued up on cars and would happily have 'BMW' as my specialised subject on Mastermind but this one escapes me
Motorway trip today Making steady progress and spot an F "something" in my mirrors As it gets closer it obviously has a bit of attitude and as it passes at speed its an M4 from every single aspect apart from the xDrive badge on its boot lid Stance - check Flared arches - check Mirrors - check Exhausts - check Everything about it shouts legit M4 You just couldnt turn a 420d into what I saw without a huge injection of cash and a Halfords loyalty card. Not possible Also unlikely anyone with an M4 would want to stick an xDrive badge on their boot for fun. Probably The only thing that doesnt fit is that it was on IRL plates But Im pretty sure no export market ever got an xDrive M4 Anyone????????? |

Pretty easy to attach bumpers, fenders, exhaust and trim to turn a F32 into an F82, externally. The difficult part is the quarter panels, but still entirely doable.
Imo the 35i/40i cars are much better tuning beds than the M counterparts. It's far cheaper, one, and two you get the option of xdrive + xdelete to go rwd when you want. This is why BMW has done the same with the F90, and now G M cars. Best of both worlds. I might be biased though. Check the sig

I have seen a couple of pics of 435d converted to look like M4s.
This pic is of a Gran coupe. But I'be seen a nardo grey diesel coupe get the full M4 look too.
