As some posts mentioned above the car shouldn't actually run lean, more that the O2 thinks it running lean so its adding more fuel than expected (positive STFTs). You will look at STFTs. If possible also log LTFTs (not sure if an option on BM3).

STFTs is the key parameter to look at for this question. STFTs in BM3 logs are given as a whole number, where 1 is no corrections, and 1.05 is +5%, 1.10 +10%, etc. 0.90 would be -10%.

You can read more about how to understand datalogs in my thread here: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1732327

STFTs wont adapt though i dont think; they are only real-time adjustment. LTFTs will adapt (those are the learned long term adaptations), but as i saw in my intake thread, looking at LTFTs and STFTs together can be a little confusing. Still would be a good datapoint to have though, so i suggested he logs LTFTs. If they are both in the same direction that could be more evidence.

Thats crazy. Im super jealous of that log. Even with the loose DP your log looks insanely better than my stage 1 91ACN log using 93oct gas.

This does not look bad at all. I'd be ok with that. Bumpy road? Your RPM curve is not smooth. Nice to see that boost target is met

Wondering if a less boost and better timing would give more power...?

You think so? I feel like timing could be smoother and more consultant across the cylinders and theres still knock at the beginning of the log. The knocks are really what concern me. Road was smooth as butter. I log on the same mexican highway every time. It was freshly paved less than a year ago.

This specific log was Sunoco 93oct. I've been logging each gas station in my area to see who's got the best stuff. I've done Wawa,BP, Shell, Sunoco, Fuel4, and Costco. So far the car likes the Wawa has the best.
