Stock Dyno numbers?
What to expect on the dyno with stock 340? I know the type of dyno and temp will affect the numbers but just ball park. Want to know if its worth the $200 for 2 runs. My xdrive 340 6speed is fully stock. Want to dyno now before going stage 1. Also, anyone running stage 1, what numbers you putting down and what platform you using? Was it worth it? Any issues?

The easy answer: No, the dyno is a full on waste of money. You can do a before/after and get some "peeing rights" on the actual power, but really, it means nothing.
What exactly are you asking "stage 1"? Piggyback, flash tune? |

Wow! First off Thank you for this!!! I'm always curious to see what the car makes at whatever stage.
2nd. Did you buy the car used? Wonder why all the spy gear was in there. |

I paid $150 for three runs on a mustang dyno. First run was done stock and the next two runs were done with stage 1-93 on my b46. It takes minutes to flash. I wanted to see what the actual gain was.
You're paying $200 for two runs, do your first run stock, flash and do the second run to see the different. Also your butt dyno will tell you that it is different. |
