Preparing for stage 1 tune

Before i tune my 2016 340i xdrive B58 to stage 1, i was thinking about upgrading my charge pipe and down pipe. I don't plan on going past stage 1 but was just thinking about doing these 2 for sound from the stock exhaust. Anyone else ever did this?
Thought, comments, opinions?

no need to mess with the charge pipe. downpipe will give you more sound for sure. I swapped mine while I was still stock for a few months before stage 2

If you are going to do a down pipe why not do stage 2?

If you're doing CP + DP might as well go stage 2.

There is no benefit to upgrading the charge pipe on B58 engines. That issue is only with N55. There is no prep needed for Stage 1 on B58.

If you are upgrading downpipe then you should be running a Stage 2 map.

The reason i didn't plan on doing stage 2 was just to keep the car reliable as much as possible. I know tuning the car will affect the reliability but didn't want to compromise it too much. This is my daily at the moment but if that changes then i mite just go full bolt ons but as of rite now just plan on being safe an going stage 1

In that case, just get the Stage 1 tune and keep all hardware stock. That will be the most reliable set up.
