Cost is in line with AST/Moton etc, since these use the same cores. (Slightly more than KW V3) I will likely install Friday evening (hawaii time) and align Saturday morning so pics will be up this weekend

I believe retail is going to be set around $4k US... IMO, compareable coilovers would be JRZ lines, AST/Moton (same cores so essentially identical minus valving and spring rate and brand). I have ran a few different brands on different cars over the years and I will say that it seems that the higher end stuff has a wider range of damping vs more "off the shelf" setups (kw v2/3, H&R, PSS10 etc). But at the end of the day it really just depends how you plan to use the car.. most people wont want to spend 4k+ on a street use vehicles suspension.
Here's my thoughts on this setup (3500 miles driven so far): - dampers can be set softer than OEM Msport all the way to extremely solid - simple damper adjustment front and rear without the use of a jack is great - even in the sea water environment of hawaii absolutely no issues with rust or "frozen" adjusters - height adjustment is much greater than they claimed.. can go from full tuck front and rear to maybe 1/8 inch lower than stock negative: - experienced slight noise on DS front following alignment. Turns out that the pillowball wasnt perfectly centered in the camber plate when they set it causing slight metallic noise.. recentered and realigned.. noise gone! Wasn't a huge deal but more of an attention to detail thing that I felt needed to be mentioned. |
