when wiring the stage 2 the directions say to tap in to the yellow wire and black/blue stripe wire. its showing these wires by the passenger side strut. I only found these wires by the DRiver side strut. After looking further thru threads i seen another post that i may need to tap into Red wire and Blue/red stripe wire near the driver side strut.
Has anyone else have this issue? What is the correct wires to tap into?

My car is 2013 AT 8 with Xdrive.

That's like 100 wtq over map 1.
Make sure your running high octane fuel when running map 2. Don't wanna blow that motor.

Anyone noticed rougher starts since hooking up stage 2? Almost as if the battery is low and having trouble turning over? Could be completely unrelated to the tune but I have been experiencing this quite often over the last week or two.

Sounds like the motor is running more advanced vs stock which can make it harder to start.

Not during starting.
It's not the JB4. Have had mine for months and no issues.

Will you really blow your motor if you are on map 2 and on low octane?

As long as you have access to 93 octane, you're good.... Seperate user error I've been having - I tend to hold my volume down button on the steering wheel when I turn down my music and it keep switching to Map 0 without me knowing! Frustrating. I now have a yellow sticker on the volume down button so I don't use it, lol

I believe map 2 is used for high octane/e85 mix and/or down pipes. I'm not sure you'd even want to use it with just 93 octane.

I've been running Map 2 with catless downpipe + 93 octane and is has been a wonderful trip from 26mpg to 18mpg but aside from that everything has been running great.

Just need to find out what is causing these rough starts in the morning. Only seems to happen with cold starts.

I have never seen 93 octane in my area yet..

I have been running map 2, but I use a mixture of 91 with 100 octane.

I also have another gas station that has E85, and when I cant get to the 100 octane station, I fill up mostly with 91 and mix in maybe 4 gallons of E85..

The 100 octane runs best though. Since I am on map 2, I will make sure to fill up with the 100 octane as much as possible.

There is no E85 / autolearning map at this time (which would most likely be map 5) and it is recommended to use map 7 with a 60/40(e85) mix of E85 or race gas...with or without DPs.

So if I want to stay on map 2, stick with the mixture of 91 and 100 octane, correct? What sort of mixture is best or recommended?

Actually, you can do map 2 if you have a DP but "preferably" at least 93 or higher octane as well.

You can purchase a version of it now. It's not a mass production kit but more of a alpha/beta test kit. But it is definitely an upgrade!

Eek, just installed the stage 2, and now I get a drivetrain malfunction, reduced performance. Anybody have any ideas?

Check your plugs. I had one of mine plugged in backwards. It is most certainly just a connection issue I had the same thing.

I thought that due to the way the plugs were made, it would be impossible to plug it in backwards. I just double-checked all of my connections. I didn't get a chance to start it again, so not sure yet. If I still get errors, then I will try unplugging all of the harness plugs and "return it to stock", just to make sure I can get back to a good state.

Is the CAN connection only needed for steering wheel control? I did hook it up, but I am curious if this is all it is for so far.
