Canada connected app not updating
Hi all,
I recently bought a new 2019 x5 in Calgary, Canada. It has been 3 weeks since i had the car but my app installed in my iohone XS Max says my car is still at the dealership. I checked and notced that the app has not been updated since December 13, 2018. How do i make the app to update? |

Likely means that there needs to be an event for the car to send an update.

Connected drive app
Hi all,
I got my X1 2018 almost 2 weeks ago. At the beginning when I was trying to use the app, the only thing that was working was the updated location of the car. but other information like status of doors or mileage was not updated and it shows last day of update as 13 December 2018 where it was in dealership. So I tried to remove the car from my account in connected drive website and add it again so it might solve the problem. Now it says that a 6 digit code is sent to the car. But there is no “ message” options in the car where I can find the code. Does anyone know what should I do? |

Is there any update on the Stock Market Widget? It has stopped working quite some time ago. Is there any timeframe as as of when it will be fixed? Or has this widget been dropped for good? |

I don't blame you, but BMW: new connected Android app ONLY IN JULY? What a joke!
What about users like me, here in Canada, that can't log in on the current version of the app? It used to work ok, despite the total lack of features compared to the iOS app or the Android app in the US, but out of nowhere my account was logged out and now I get an "unexpected error" when I try to log in - despite the fact that I can log in just fine on the connected drive website. I've already cleaned the app cache, re-installed, updated the connected services on the car... nothing. The app is just useless right now. It's a shame Canadian customers don't get the same features on Android compared to iOS users or Android users in the US. Now it's even worse as the current app simply does not work (at least for some people, just check the latest comments at the Play Store). |

But, the iOS connected app is pretty lame as well. I don't think you are missing much. BMW is a car company (and they do that well), they just have no clue how to build proper software |

How long does it take for the confirmation code to arrive? No code has arrived in the Messages folder in my car so I can't confirm my vehicle. Used the app to "re-send code" but still nothing. Any ideas?

Last night I tried again and, this time, was able to log in. It seems like a huge outage happened and I'm hearing/reading people complaining that 3D remote view is broken now... well, for those who have access to the feature (iOS app, Android in the US). I wonder what the heck is going on on the backend.
