Anyone that said it’s the tyres clearly works for BMW....
I’ve taken it too 3 specialists and spoken with 2 other tyre companies. All said the same thing just seen a geo specialist and went on a test drive with him and he confirmed it. Just had my first mot on Monday. BMW said it’s all ok.... how strange considering there history with bad steering racks. https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1149998 |

Besides mechanical and suspensions issues stated. You may also want to check tire pressures on all 4 tires. Something you should do regularly anyways. There's a label on the drivers door showing recommended tire pressure for the front and rear tires. The guys changing the tires are usually in too much of a hurry to bother looking at what recommended pressures are for the vehicle and tend to over inflate them. Even new cars off the lot are usually way off. I always check tire pressures after a tire change, wheel alignment or general service on my cars. Also note new tires are slippery at first due to a manufacturing mold release lubricant that wears off after several miles of driving.
