437M Reps - Safety/Quality Discussion

Hey guy, whats your opinion on the 437M reps. I love the style of them I think it will give some more visual weight over my 18'' 400M that came on the car. (13' 335i xDrive M sport)

So - for those that have 437M Rep's on their car have you had any issues, cast wheels aren't as strong as forged ones so I'm a little worried about a wheel failure at speed from a pot hole or something (i've cracked Forgestar Wheels before - not to throw shade at them)

The complicating factor is I have the wheel insurance, does anyone know if that applies to aftermarket wheels or just OEM wheels?

Thanks,

I ordered mine last week from oemconcept. Will give it a try i guess. BMW OEM wheels are not all forged, so they do cast too.
Roads here are not that bad and I will use 40/35 tires to protect them more. Dont know about insurance but if they took a picture of your oem wheels, that's what they will cover not a different wheels even if they are oem.

Hi there,
ET # means the measurement from center hub to the outside lip. So as low the number, more aggressive out will be.

I have mines for 5 months and I'm satisfy with the quality from OEMConcert.
Im using the 19x8.5 et35 front 19x9.5 et40 with 235/40/19 & 265/35/19 MPSS.

Surface Quality of Roads in Naples FL and NJ have nothing in common.

Hit a few NJ potholes per mile with 437m Reps and then compare them to OEM.

Have a set of OEMConcept 437m Reps in 18 x 8.5 ET35 w/ 235/40/18 square setup. So far no complaints. Smooth ride and comfortabe and smooth over rough patches of roads..

When people think replica wheels, they think shitty construction, heavy, poor quality and cheap (eBay replicas). That's what most vendors sell, but not ours.

Our 437M wheels are low-pressure cast, the same manufacturing process of most high end aftermarket wheels sold on here (Avant Garde, Stance, VMR etc..) All our wheels are JWL and VIA certified.

Wheels aren't indestructible. You can spend $5-6k on forged wheels and they will still bend on the right pothole. I'm not saying that these are as strong as forged wheels, but the reality is that they're not far off.

Im not comparing them with OEM. Eitherway, if you take care of them as I do you wont have a problem. Now, if you dont, then even the OEM will break. Remember that not all OEM wheels are forged. BMW use cast wheels too.
If I want it to hit a few potholes at high speed, then that's what the black jeep is for.

Seems the only company which carriers anything close and can re-sale is 1010Tires. They have a set online for sale, but it doesn't seem to be from the Canadian company I had looked up and called. They wont sell to public anyway, plus the only reseller they worked with was 1010tires.

I gave up on my 437M search and decided to go with Niche 19's. I hope those dont fall apart and have quality materials.

P.S Just an update, the brand was called Replika

Found this on Facebook Marketplace. Not sure if he ships or not but worth the try. He has different colors too.
