im confused. so this is a demo car that is just fitted with the parts, or it is your car?

I think the side skirt add ons need to be either carbon fiber colors or gloss black. Same goes for the splitters and rear hyundai diffuser. Im okay with the trunk lip being body color and the lower lip.

What, because the tires don't look like marshmallows they're "stretched"?

OP i have the same problem with the side skirts (sticks out too much)
the body shop seems to think its because a few clips are missing, let me know if you fix/fixed it.. im getting my dealer to have a look mid this month, so ill keep you updated..

tbh, i think its just incorrect fitting?

car looks great btw

About time Xenons were standard on the 320 330 and 335 F30s with optional LEDs

Somebody has installed it, what was he thinking? How difficult can it be to install these items like it is supposed to be installed.

Missing clips is not a valid excuse for fitment. The skirts are contoured to match the curves on the bottom side of the stock side skirt meaning that the performance skirt wont even lay flat against the bottom of the stock skirt if it isnt moved into place. Even without instructions, all you have to do is hold the Performance skirt up and slide it around to see where it "lands" in place.

There are no clips- all plastic rivets and screws that are drilled into the stock skirts on the bottom side.

There is room for error unfortunately, especially when it comes to mounting the lip up where it meets the mesh parts of the bumper. I have been using 3M tape on the 4 lips I have installed. I apply the 3M tape to the underside of the splitter (in the area where it mounts up against the mesh part of the bumper), and only peel the edge of it, that way I can slide the splitter on to the carrier, snap it in place, THEN PUSH the splitter against the bumper very hard so it eliminates the gap, then grab the edge of the 3M tape that I peeled, and pull it off when pushing the splitter against the bumper.

If you dont use this technique, the results will vary, but doing it this way has worked 100% of the time

I dont use beta link because in the event that I damage the splitter, I want the option to remove it and replace it, rather than replacing the entire front bumper.

Good tip! As I have to install my splitter next month.

What type of 3M tape did you use? It has to be an outdoor / water resistant tape I think?

And I understand that the splitter can be difficult to install, but what about the sills, that is just a silly mistake they made.

You have to drill the holes yourself in the sills, correct?

Gotta say the Performance kits for the E90 and the F20 look a lot better than this. It just doesn't look right to my eyes. The splitters, rear diffuser and spoiler should be carbon fibre.

Correct, you drill the holes in the performance blades first then into the stock side skirts once you attach the blades with the double sided tape, then you rivet and screw them on.

The 3m tape just needs to be the kind with the dark grey, almost black adhesive/red peel off backing. When you buy it, if there is more than one option ask for assistance to make sure you get the stronger of the two.
