Other half hated it, I enjoyed driving it but missed 4 doors. I also don’t want large payments anymore. Just a preference thing. Two totally different cars, but I do in fact prefer the 335 over the c7. Comfort, room, etc.

I bought these tires to save a little so I could buy wheels too. The only thing I can find that is bad is the snow traction, but I don't like the DWS in the snow either.

I have Yokohama Advan Sport A/S and they are not nearly as good in the snow as I had expected.

Based on the priorities you listed I would say DWS 06. They are not as sporty as the Michelin A/S 3+, but they will do better in the snow and will last longer and at a lower price point.

Garage List
I had Michelin Pilot Sport 3 a/s on my old e83 with xdrive and even brand new they absolutely sucked in the snow! The Pirellis the car originally came with were much better. However, any all season tire ( even with xdrive) will be noticeably inferior to a dedicated snow tire. I would invest in an extra pair of rims and dedicated snow tires to put on my car if I lived in wintery climate!

Yup, my previous set was Pilot Spot 3 a/s and it sucks with just a little dusting of snow. Going up hill? Forget about it!

However, I still got new Pilot Spot recently, but with the latest version of Pilot Sport 3+. It supposed to do 30% better in snow. Will see how it works this winter.

We’ve only had a little snow and ice on the Frozen Tundra, and I have Continental Conti-Pro SSR. So far seem good. Once we get some serious snow and ice, I’ll go to a parking lot to see how it handles. Never had AWD before nor a BMW.
