What is this?
Hi All,
What is this hard rubber block underneath the car? There’s one on either side in between front and back wheel. This one got a little rubbed down after driving over one of those annoying little concrete blocks in a car park (The one on the corner of parking spaces with trees going out of them) Thanks! |

No but in all seriousness, I'm pretty sure that's a jack stand point. You should have four; two on each side of the car, near the front and rear tires.

I'm guessing that driving over one of "those annoying little concrete blocks in a car park" didn't do your car much good.............I am also guessing that you don't have a Manual in the car as you certainly would have referenced it before posting on here (and it does explain about jack points in the Manual)..............

You can purchase plastic/hard rubber "pucks" which fit over your jack and engage into those plastic pieces, if they are not too deformed already. I'm not a big fan of having to purchase something just to use the jack points, but they do work well.

Thanks all.
Appreciate the quick answers - Car was fine after the hiccup over that annoying block, only thing I could see damaged was the newly discovered “jack point”! |

Correction. You have three jackpoints left.
I wish the pucks were universal. I have to buy different ones for different cars. |
