I agree with everything he said, and yes there are already some CF offerings on eBay that probably fit fine. RW Carbon has a CF version of the MPerformance diffusor I believe, if you like the look.

Ok time to go back to sleep (stomach virus)
Hope you feel better bro!

Yea I was looking at RW. I like their front lip but its not the 2x2 twill like F30 version they make. The rear diffuser looks good but I can't decide on if it should be full carbon or painted like the OEM M Performance. I guess if you have carbon, why cover it up?

True, but the partially painted look would still look cool.

Here are videos of the 435i OEM Exhaust conversion, as requested. One with value closed, one with the valve open.

EDIT: Oh, and yes, I'm going to debadge it when it gets warmer.

Change the mode to sport and click the throttle slightly (after the car is warm which takes a few minutes) and you will here the valve in the left pipe open.

No problem! Another way is to start the ignition and then switch to sport and once the car is in sport, tap the throttle a bit and you can hear the flap open while the car is off and when you're ready you can start the car properly and it'll be open. Little "easter egg" if you will.

OMG dat blue. On a side note, did you do any mods to the stock 435i exhaust? It sounds louder than the stock 435is I've heard so far.

It seems 14+ may operate differently. Mine opens on it's own after about 1 minute after start in anything other than Eco. In Eco it stays closed. This is at idle.

Or am I missing something?

Not sure I understand what you are saying here. I shoiuld blip the throttle when the car is off? Or blip the throttle and once the valve opens turn off the car so when I start it next time the valve is open?

Blip the throttle when the car is off and in sport mode (with the ignition on of course).
