Ha ha. I went under the car and checked. Even unplugged and plugged back the connector. I know the valve motor is getting power because I can't force it to rotate by hand.

No problem! Another way is to start the ignition and then switch to sport and once the car is in sport, tap the throttle a bit and you can hear the flap open while the car is off and when you're ready you can start the car properly and it'll be open. Little "easter egg" if you will.

Check the what? I did check the valve before I installed the muffler and it rotated freely without any binding.

Tried all possible things. When the car's ignition is on and you open the valve like i said before, it doesn't stay open when you actually start the car. When the car is cold and you switch it into sport while in park, it takes like 5 minutes for it to open. When you start the car and it's warm and you put it in sport mode, it takes like 2 minutes and then the valve will open. Never seems to open right away after starting the car.

Maybe my getting it to open yesterday was a fluke.

Testing now...

10 mins in Sport mode parked in my garage..Valve stays shut. Revved the engine a few times still no luck.

Read another member stuffed the left pipe with a ball of newspaper and went for a spirited drive. Upon return the ball was gone.

That's really confusing, it should open up....
