Time will tell. Reflector beam patterns are created by reflecting the bulb radiation pointing to the sides and rear. They can't control any forward radiation from the bulb, so halogens have no forward radiation.

Off-topic thread bombing is bad form. You should search one that addresses your question or start your own. That said, the lens is not a separate part. The entire lamp would have to be replaced.
What must be comparable is the distance from the mounting flange to the middle of the LED elements versus the middle of the filament on the halogen. The picture appears to show the LED elements closer to the flange than the halogen filament, which will give a different beam pattern. The lens on the front of the LED may give an acceptable forward radiation pattern, but it may not. Last edited by Billfitz; 05-21-2018 at 07:37 AM.. |

Beamtech LOW BEAMS arrived and installed. I decided to take each wheel off because... why not?
Had perfect access to look and see what I was doing. Lights work perfect and are definitely whiter/brighter than factory halogen. Last edited by sspade; 05-22-2018 at 09:04 PM.. |

I can confirm that all lights linked in my original post fit and function perfectly (with a bit of simple coding).
Very simple, plug and play for all. Zero modification required which is what I was hoping for. Lights are all without a doubt brighter and whiter (with an exception for the High Beams with have a slight bluish hue compared to the LEDs). |

I currently have the factory halogen headlights with the halogen bulbs. I am looking for a led low beam bulb that doesnt require modification or coding. What is the best option?

Those look so much brighter than mine and I have Hikari H7. Either that or Washington is just gloomy all the dang time lol. Any preference for high beams? I need those the most especially going through mountain roads. I love your lights!

Hi sspade! Do you know what size high beams are? The eBay link seems to have expired. I appreciate your help!
Just finished reading on KiesMotorsports and it seems both low and high beams are H7. Just curious if anyone else is running H7 for high beams and are they brighter than DRL H7? Last edited by Erebus_F30; 01-03-2022 at 04:30 PM.. |

I'm running Morimoto H7s which are probably not work the extra cash but gave me piece of mind. The DRLs and parking lights I got from Ijdmtoy/Amazon. |
