Zelle is linked to an account number and a mobile number. Use the dark web and get mid evil. Draw and quarter these clowns. Can't stand a thief.

I would email THAT person that you do have contact with (that says they only allowed the person to use their email). Email THAT person and just say

Hey man - Since you are the one that allowed him to use YOUR email for the funds transfer - that means I paid you. What you did with the money after I sent it - is not my issue. That's your issue. I will be calling the police in 1 hour. And you can tell them your side of the story.

This sounds completely logical. I was thinking spiked bats but yeah, this sounds better…

FBI. This is wire fraud, a Federal offense. The U.S. Department of Justice Criminal Resource Manual Section 941.18 U.S.C. 1343 cites these as the key elements of wire fraud: 1) that the defendant voluntarily and intentionally devised or participated in a scheme to defraud another out of money; 2) that the defendant did so with the intent to defraud; 3) that it was reasonably foreseeable that interstate wire communications would be used; and 4) that interstate wire communications were in fact used.

What Billfitz said: Contact the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3): https://www.ic3.gov/Home/FileComplaint and, if you wish, notify the other party of your intent. Don't be a passive victim- fight back

I had this same exact person reach out to me about trying to sell me something. I asked someone else who had a WTS for an F36 trunk mat about shipping to my zip code. TCrush pm'd me about final price with shipping. I knew it wasn't the person selling so I kept it going to see how they'd act. They dropped the price in half, and told me to cashapp them. I told them I only feel comfortable using PayPal and they immediately backed out of the sale. DEFINITELY A SCAMMER. Be warned about TCrush. I pm'd an admin of the member classifieds section but havent heard anything back.

Funny they used a different phone number with me. Probably using some fake texting app to keep changing numbers so you can't contact them after the payment is sent.

lol, trying to scam for $70, it's not even worth the risk, i hope someone here have connection to FBI / police cyber crime unit so it can be reported.

lets keep support each other back.

considering this scammer PM everyone who replied on a FS sale, i think this guy is using a script to scan the whole FS section, then PM them, i doubt he does it manually

Austin Yellow Comp shifters, WTH that's what I'm trying to sell.

Now I see how these scammers work, they ask for pics of what you're selling then turn around and use it to con someone else.
