This package could end up saving me money over what I was going to spend on my sport line? Can anyone confirm these items?
if youre buying a package, you cant just start subtracting things.
it'll cost you $3500 for the whole package or you dont get the package at all.

it'll likely come stock with 18s, and the 19s may be an additional charge; possibly another $1k.
the paint will be an additional $550 on top of the package price.

just go price out a 335i coupe and see how the pricing works for that; this shouldnt be far off.

I know the money doesn't literally get substracted from the $3500 package price; I was trying to illustrate that the $3500 package comes with some features that I would have paid for separately when building a car without the m-sport package which makes the $3500 package a better deal for me.

To simplify.....I was going to get the following options below on my car if I wasn't going to get the M-sport and just get a sport line (keep in mind I only picked 19" wheels here so I could get 255mm tires on the rear; with the M-sport model I would just keep the stock 18" wheels that come with it since they do come with 255mm tires):

Sport line only build:

MSRP
Base Vehicle $42,400

Sport Line $1,700
Imperial Blue Metallic $550
19" wheels with mixed tires $900
Adaptive M Suspension $900

Grand Total $46,450

However, if the M-sport package deletes the sport line, comes with the adaptive suspension and metallic paint as part of the package, then I wouldn't need to pay extra on top of the m-sport package for those features. And as mentioned above, I wouldn't need the 19" wheels because the M-sports 18" wheels come with 255mm tires. So the M-sport with the options/features I'm looking for above, assuming they all come as part of the M-sport package, would be:

MSRP
Base Vehicle $42,400

M-sport package $3,500

Grand Total $45,900

See what I mean? The M-sport package won't really cost me any more than what I was going to order anyway without the M-sport package.

I'm just trying to verify whether or not the adaptive M suspension and Estoril Blue paint actually are included in the M-sport package or cost extra on top of the $3500, and whether or not the M-sport package cost has to be added to the sport line package cost, or if getting M-sport would remove the $1700 sport line package cost.

Adaptive M Suspenion and Estoril Blue II will be extra. Pricing depends on where you are but we Canadians will pay an extra $890 for the Estoril Blue paint job.

So with the M Sports package, you end up paying more but you get a damn good looking car! Totally worth the extra $$$!!!

That's a bummer. Was I correct though that if you get the M-sport package, you don't have to pay for it on top of the sport line?

Yup correct! You don't add M Sports on top of the Sports line...

Thanks Maz. I feel a little better now....the M-sport will at least give me two features/packages as part of the $3500 that I would have paid for separately (the sport line package and 19" wheels).....so the net difference for me would be $900 for the M-sport on top of what I would have paid as individual options for the sport line + 19" wheels for the 255mm tire in back.

At least you're getting the M Sports package! This makes the F30 look AWESOME!!! Who cares how much it costs? Well it does matter but it's not going to be much, specially in your case.

Just go for it and be happy wherever you drive. You know you have one of the best rides out there!

Good luck man. I'm in the same boat as you and cant wait for us to order the M Sports package. We're still not sure of it'll be available on the 328i here in Canada but this is a deal breaker for me.

If its only available on the 335i, I might just go for it! I love the M Sports package and absolutely love Estoril Blue II...let's see what the next few weeks bring me...

I should also highlight that some options are cheaper on the MSport compared to the sport line e.g. Adaptive suspension is a cheaper option on MSport... It'd cost you a bit more for other lines.

Is passive sport suspension standard on the Oz-spec Sport Line?

I only know about the adaptive suspension as it is one I ticked.
Aus spec mSport comes with MSport suspension as standard hence cheaper to upgrade.

So it can be combined with the sport line? I don't understand what that would combine to.

I'm thinking £3,000 is for the 328i and £2,000 for the 335i. Because the 335i has the sport line as a basic option!

Not bad for you guys...

No, it's for 320i as Sport Line is not available in UK from 328i & up. For UK-spec 335i it's only available in either Modern Line, Luxury Line or M Sport. Price premium is GBP2,000 over Modern Line & GBP500 over Luxury Line.

No, I'm only stating the difference in price. M-sport is a separate trim level.

The configurator & downloadable price list are not updated yet. Be patient, wait for tomorrow.
