After all, virtually EVERYONE knows that the same existing E90 N55 performance package (like the 640i standard upgrade) will obviously work on the F30 and we are just waiting for BMW to officially offer it as an option or include it as standard. It's all there and ready, we are just waiting for BMW to officially announce the obvious.
Maybe they are reserving the power bump for the future ///M335i model....

Fair enough.

335hp in the M-Sport!

Lucky you who are waiting until July to get the F30 M-Sport!
You can only order it in July, first deliveries of M-sport will be in September/October

At the risk of looking like an illiterate boob I will ask this :flamesuit:

It appears that red stitching on black leather is not an option for the M sport in the US. Am I correct? My wife loves the red stitching on black in the sport line @ the DLR, but hates the nose of the F30, until I showed her the M sport ...now she knows what she wants, however she will be disappointed if there is no red stitching....

That's right, no red stitching with the M Sport Package.

You know, I am from Munich and I LOVE BMW. But I hope that my friend who wants to work his way up at BMW can kick some ass there some day. I mean why does BMW not offer Red Stitching seats in the M sport but in the regular sport!?!? What's the sense behind that??? I do not get it. But do the red seats still have the black stitching?

Because the red accents belong to the sport line, while the M Sport gets blue accents.

You can see the blue stitching on the Alcantara seats, but it probably did not look good on the leather.
The red leather still gets black stitching

I totally agree!!!

I'm very disappointed that there will be NO red stitching. It looked so obvious to me that I never asked before.

Do we get the blue stitching in Canada? Does anyone know? This is getting seriously annoying for me now!!!

I'm not sure if it will be available in the US but I'd hope so.

If I'm not mistaken, I think I recall reading here on bimmerpost that the leather in the M-Sport was of higher quality than in the Luxury and Sport lines - softer or something.

I'm disappointed in the no red stitching either. But I'll take the nicer leather on the steering wheel and the seats.

sport line and m sport both list DAKOTA leather as the only leather choice. I doubt they have different grades of Dakota. Softer BMW leathers are not listed as Dakota. But, it would be nice if they offered the red trim/black seats on the M sport.

If the blue dash trim is the hang up--I am not sure the red/black trimmed seats would look that great with blue dash trim. These line constraints are giving me a headache.

Well, if they're both Dakota, then you're right, there should be no difference.

It's the leather used to wrap the steering wheel that is of higher quality.

This!

Mine will be black, so I'd prefer a red line, or no line...I'm really hating the "you can have this, but only like this, and not with this". Reminds me of Ol Henry Ford's "any color you want, as long as it's black"...except more aggravating, b/c I like black

Guys do you know if we have to pay extra for Estoril Blue? Or is it the standard $890 here in Canada?

South, your help would be greatly appreciated. As always!

There's no extra charge for Estoril Blue, so it's the same price as the other metallic colors.

Best regards,

Two questions-
1) When one gets the beige with the M-sport, is it just the seats and the door inserts like grey in the sport line? Or is the interior beige?

2) Will the F31 come on line for US deliveries at the same time as M Sport and xDrive?

If so, I'm hoping for a September-October delivery of an F31 328i xDrive M Sport either in AW or EB with the beige leather....

I do not think anyone knows at this point.
My guess is it will be the same as the Luxury line - all beige.
