Would this car be a good purchase?
After careful looking, I found an M Sport 428i with M Brake Callipers and Blue Trim and 20,000 miles- my dream car, for only $29000. I haven't been able to find another car like that after I found it was sold, but I found this:
http://// It has Xenon Lights and the increased top speed limiter and sport seats, and it's cheaper. I'm wondering if this car is a good deal. Also, the Carfax seems very confusing so hopefully you guys can explain that to me. Will this car be good and reliabile? Thanks! Last edited by 1337i; 08-18-2017 at 11:22 AM.. |

I thought everything looked pretty good, until I saw the pic of the engine bay. I'm no expert, but as far as I know, with the F3x bodies, the very front body of the engine bay should be the same paint as the body of the car, with the engine bay parts being basic black. The front half of this engine bay is tan, very weird. Makes you wonder if there was replaced damaged components or a wreck that wasn't reported.
I would investigate further.

Yes, it's Southern california so most likely it's the sun. Very good fond though. The Carfax confuses me because the car is offered for sale 2 times, on 6/20 and 7/25. |

Do yourself a favor and have your dealer, not the selling one, run the VIN. They have access to BMW's private system that's like Carfax on steroids.
