Hello friends,
I am looking for help to convert a boot animation + sound splash.img file already ready to the new HD screens please? The link of the file to convert from 1280x480 to 1280x720P please: https://1fichier.com/?fz2ir95jpi4hj9chjht3 You just have to enlarge the images of the .zip? What about the splah.img? 1. Boot animation with sound is not possible to my knowledge - I tested it before and it was dead silent. 2. It's 1920x720 - 1280x720 resolution doesn't exist on these units. 3. You can try to convert 1280x480 to 1920x720 images but most likely it will look bad. Create a new animation or use one of mine - all available in both 480p and 720p. 4. I don't know if you were planning to use the file that you uploaded byt there are many things wrong with it: size, compression, folder structure. 5. For splash image create an image that is 1920x720 and use splash image tool. |

Thank you for your answer friend
- I don't want to put sound at startup - Thank you for your animation files - It's fine 1920X720P I made a mistake - The tool for converting the first page converted to 1280x480, so I don't not know how to convert this image to 1920x720 "splash.img" https://1fichier.com/?issb15wm32gtszqlrt21 EDIT: I put my video in a light format of 1920x720P, now if you know how to convert the file above to splash.img all that is left is "the folder structure" to reformat from what you told me. https://1fichier.com/?qglyf0cib4yvqpr71mzf https://1fichier.com/?gry3y3hpdmohfpynv3xp Last edited by F20_M135i; 11-29-2020 at 02:28 AM.. |

You can check this by yourself when you check the file properties. If you use 7zip do only "store" and don`t add/delete files afterwards. If using Winrar you also need to uncheck the Exact time box (don`t know the exact string) at the "Time" tab. Kri |

Create your logos, put them in mylogo.zip on the root of your USB stick, plug in to your HU, go to menu where you can select boot logos, press import and you're done. Now you can select one of your own logos.

Thanks for your help friend!
Do the names of the files in the mylogo.zip have to be specific? The mylogo.zip must be in version 1.0 also? Otherwise, I found help with the reconversion of my file thanks to the bootanimation.exe tool which extracts the videos (mp4) of your choice (they must be short!) |

I noticed that in our 1280x480 units we had two folders part0 and part1 and that inside the images were in .png against part0 only and .jpg images
So The 1920x720 units in addition to having a better definition of image may have smaller, higher quality bootanimation.zip files |

I created my own logo.img I packed it into mylogo.zip and uploaded it to the / OEM directory on the pen. In the settings, I did "import" and then I received the message "imported successfully". After turning on the android, I don't have this logo or any other that was on Page 2. What am I doing wrong? Second question... How do I import ready-made profiles and tasks into Tasker? Can it be done without root? |

As for Tasker, for it to properly run it needs root. |

I can see that there are some events responsible for volume buttons, but right now it's a matter of finding the correct one and assigning correct function to it. So far without success but I'll keep trying. If anyone can give some clues here I would be grateful :-) Cheers! |

***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***
Good news: iDrive Keyboard version 1.2.1 is available to download from Play Store. It introduces scroll acceleration that reduces amount of turns you need to make in order to move from one end to another… and that’s all for good news. Now bad news: If you are on the KSW software version 2.5.3 - Android 10, due to new and very strict memory manager every application that is not system app or KSW app will be killed after few minutes. That also affects this keyboard. If you are being suddenly switched back to Android stock keyboard it means KSW memory manager killed my keyboard. I am working on a solution (if at all possible) but until then please revert back to previous software version that worked for you. Thank you for your understanding. Tomasz_pl let us continue here as it's theming related and not general issue. KswPLauncher.apk and KswPMedia.apk are two different apps therefore they require separate overlays. You "standard" overlay address ksw launcher, but if you want to also apply theme (or just translation) to media player you have to change target package and package name in the Manifest.xml. Then you have to use modified adb commands to enable media player overlay.
Your overlay manifest for media player should look like this: Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="no"?> <manifest xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" package="ksw.overlay.media" android:versionCode="1" android:versionName="1.0"> <overlay android:priority="1" android:targetPackage="com.wits.ksw.media" /> <application android:allowBackup="false" android:hasCode="false" android:label="KswOverlayMedia" /> </manifest> Code:
adb connect IP:port adb root adb disable-verity adb reboot adb connect IP:port adb root adb remount adb shell adb push kswoverlaymedia.apk /storage/emulated/0 adb shell mv /storage/emulated/0/kswoverlaymedia.apk /system/app/ adb shell chmod 644 /system/app/kswoverlaymedia.apk adb reboot adb connect IP:port adb shell cmd overlay enable ksw.overlay.media Last edited by RedErik; 12-07-2020 at 08:54 AM.. |
