With mostly E85 you are just going to have a really high ethanol content so fueling will be a little off but fuel trims will compensate.

My pumps are from the same station and the same 'pump' (just different nozzles of course) so i never ran into this issue.

The other small consideration is the fuel you will be consuming between the pumps, if you put the E85 first. You might use some of the ethanol you just put in, so when you go to mix the 93, you will have less E85 than you thought, so your E% will be a little lower than calculated. But again, if pumps are close, this wont be an issue. This could also be avoided by starting with say half a tank of 93, going to add your X gallons of E85, then going to top with 93 to complete the mix.

FYI, here's my most recent spreadsheet i use to mix every time i get gas. Ive been using this since March/April and have not ran anything but a E30 target in the tank since then. I also test the E% of both E85 and pump gas about once every two months, which i highly recommend.
This is very helpful, thank you!

Ran the first run and it came out really nice... I'm running E20
https://datazap.me/u/fastf30/log-160...28-29-30-31-32

Ran the second one right after and not as nice....
https://datazap.me/u/fastf30/log-160...27-28-29-30-31

Can't put anymore "E" in there... guess gonna try some Boostane and do a 1st/2nd pull to check then do a long 4th gear pull...

I think I'm gonna get a bigger IC also... It's 50degree out 44% humidity... amb pressure is 14.9...

This seems stressful - how hard is it to do a WMI?

So do you recommend e20 instead of e30? I'm getting ready to add E85 in there in the next hour or so...

I see your in NY & EWG... which means 93 octane... I'd do E20 and see what your logs say... my E20 mix is just about perfect... MHD did the E20 map for EWG because that's all it can handle supposedly...

Ok cool. Yessir... I'm in Westchester. Found a place that sells E85 and tested it at 82 last night.

What are you worried about in the 2nd log? Timing corrections arent that bad really. It's enivitable to get some, even with E30 on the E20 map: https://datazap.me/u/thejeremyman9/1...27-28-29-30-31

The first one it ripped... I was like "Wow"... second one I knew right off the bat timing was an issue... Looking at the Torque Nms verify it... I figured it's inevitable and I keep telling myself that but that first run was soooo impressive... I don't know...

On another note... my new coilovers kept this car flat.. accelerating, braking, everything... now it's a true sports sedan...

P.s. I used the 1/4gallon "E85" to 1/8 tank measurment... I had 3/8 of a tank which I rounded up to 1.3 gallons of "E85"... worked pretty good...

Here is the VD Hp curve... the blue was the perfect timing... it just stomps on the 2nd one... after having perfect timing... all else doesn't compare... lol...

for those first time looking... the 268whp is not the cars max hp... this is a first gear pull... whp in fourth gear would be north of 400whp with perfect timing...

Here is VD with cleaned up logs so we can see the curve more accurate...

Though I was in second gear and then it kicked down on second run... so maybe that has something to do with turbo spooling up etc...

P.s. Love VD... thanks for introducing it to me...

I was able to get a few pulls in today. I decided to just give it the business and go E30... My HPFP was struggling a bit but recovered. Timings are dramatically improved for me. The car was holding boost all the way up to 5800RPM, never did that before. It felt great and strong. No breaking up despite the HPFP dropping off a bit:

Assuming your car is basically the same as mine... your car ran good... basically they are the same... fuel pressure was definitely dipping below 2000... you need to do a 1st/2nd gear pull to see the drop after it shifts into second gear... if it's lower than 1600 then you gotta add a little 93 (1 gallon to start).... it might hesitate... so don't freak out...

Thanks bud... It definitely felt strong, that's for sure. I'll get a 1-2 ASAP. Tomorrow might be raining, we'll see... I honestly didn't think there would be such a difference, but there is. I'm most surprised at the top end power. It didn't seem to lose anything at 5500-5800 (this is where I usually see boost fall off due to stock turbo). Could E30 allow turbo to maintain boost up top?

It's a combination of things... but yes... cooler charge... timing, boost, etc... you are definitely on the edge with your mix... couple 100 drop is okay... your in the Hundredsssss... the 1st/2nd pull will tell all... don't know to many people actually none that race 4th gear only.. lol...

Gotcha... Is there any way to analyze what fuel mixture that is currently in the tank without a flex fuel analyzer?

That dip in fuel pressure looks like it's related to dip in Hp around that rpm...

Hahaha!

What did you mean when you mention the fuel did being related to HP?

you have a dip in Hp @ 5200 your fuel was already dropping at that point... I only looked at your 4th gear pull log... I just looked at your 3/4/5 gear pull and you are in the 1600's .... I suggest you add a gallon of 93 and see... I ended up adding 2 gallons to get acceptable pressure when I was that low... but start with a gallon... 1st/2nd gear pull is where I saw the biggest drop...
