comfort sport confusion
so. I always leave my car in comfort and press sport when I want to quickly overtake
BUTsometimes in comfort it becomes hard to predict when i need an overtake. BUT im worried if always in sport that the car will adapt to driving slower ie throttle lag. Am I wrong in using this approach. Only reason I'm always in comfort is I fear when I need sports it may be laggy as its learnt my usual peaceful driving : |

Remember there are two real time adaptations going on, driver and driving environment influenced. BTW, when you "press sport" to overtake, I assume you mean the modes toggle. For overtaking you can simply flick the shifter to M/S, wake the gearbox up immediately. Then flick back to D as you complete the manoeuvre. |

All sport throttle does is make the response non-linear so less pressing does more. You don't get any more power with sport over comfort -- you just need to press a bit deeper into the petal before it does something.
If you get BM3, it will solve the comfort issue with just a ton more fun power. |
