Hi,
I just bought F30 2012r with broken navigation screen, its CIC

And now i want to face this problem
So there is couple ways for me:
1) ignore broken glass.. (my wife likes it)
2) exchange glass (dont know how but..) i found sth in ali: LINK TO ALIEXPRESS new glass for f30
?? BUT HOW TO repair it? is it fit to my screen?
3) buy used another screen -> and here i found someone who is selling used NBT navigation (cheap and near my location), will it fit as plug and play?

4) ignore all points and go for android screen
I would be really happy if you help me with this case...

Option 4: Ignore all points and go for android screen. Use the CIC menu as before, or use the Android side to bring your 2012 model to 2020.

Just go for Android 10. No point changing the glass as it's not cheap at USD 70.

I removed a CIC-business display once, its a pain , all glued together very well. especially at the display frame itself.

for what i saw your aliexpress glass is only a normal glass without antiglare ? so you will end up with lots of reflections.

In this case i would go for a Android headunit, but ensure you get one with blueglare antiglare !.
