Also the traction at this track is fucking ass, even my awd would lightly slip, given a better track I'd trap somewhere around 8.4 which I'm going to be headed to here shortly And hmmm... you trapped 8.5? I really don't believe that. Show me a time slip.

What ever happened to starting an N20/N26 verified ranking thread?
Interested to see who actually has the quickest cars and what mods they do (and dont) have. |

Not sure. Someone just needs to set it up. I'm ready to show off my 9 sec 1/8 with these runflats spinning right round.

I don't blame you for not believing me, I too was very surprised at how quick my times were for how my car is set up. so I'm sure you don't blame me for not believing an n20 car took down an f80 with jb4 and a catless DP. pics or it didn't happen . lol I'm just busting your balls a bit. I believe it, but I also believe that f80 was piloted by the worst performance driver to ever set foot in a motor vehicle.

Hmm. It could buy you lessons which then translates to skill. That'd be on the only way as it's not tangible.
I guess we could also wait until we arrive at the age of brain augmentations which allow us to buy modules to then increase our skill. Until then...

1. DSC held down until DSC enters "sport driving characteristics mode". this is what happens when you hold down the traction control button above the drive select switch for about 10 seconds. you know it's in this mode as a notice appears on the screen and steering gets noticeably heavier. 2. Shifter slapped over to the left, putting it in Sport mode. I did not shift on my own, I just put it in sport mode and left it. 3. after doing the above: left foot hard on the brake and get rpms up to about 2800. (this will require you to put the pedal down about 75% as the engine fights the brakes and tries to push the car forward, so you have to put your left foot hard on the brake.) again, I don't have a built in launch control. 4. dump the brake, mash the gas to the floor, point the wheel straight and cross the line. after following the above steps, your only responsibility is to keep the gas on the floor and the car pointed straight.

assuming LC means launch control, then yes, I am lol. how can I change that if it's not already programmed into the car? and what do you mean by SAT (2TB)?

As for coding it, I'm not sure if you could do it via BimmerCode. I haven't ever used that system. That being said, I would ask if it's possible to the guys who made it or in the forums under the coding section. I used ESys because it's free, but it is more difficult to use. You run the risk of bricking the car if you click the wrong button. That also being said, I still found it easy to code everything in, in one go and was slow/methodical while doing it. If you're familiar with how to use a computer and want the free route, I recommend it. While you're in there, you can code in everything else you want. Turn off your egg yolks (turn signal bulbs) so that they only come on when you signal them (I hated the yellow bulbs constantly on), turn off Auto Start/Stop, turn on digital speedometer, remove seat belt chimes and the warning screen on iDrive, allow it to play movies while driving, turn on cameras while driving, etc.. This list is crazy.

You would easily see a difference. Groundbreaking? Not really, but in racing, every second counts. You will honestly enjoy the car more IMO.
