Spotify menu glitch?

When connected to Spotify if I press Spotify menu the loading hangs for ages but if I go back & press menu again it appears straight away

I have an Iphone 8. A buddy of mine has a 5 and in his 640i GC it does the same. Might be an Idrive problem..... :-|
