I was not expecting this after the atrocious 3 series GT reveal. This looks great!!! I can only imagine how much the M-Sport is going to be enhanced! I'm glad that BMW decided to keep the F32 as a uniqie body style and not design it so closely to the F13 like the F30 is to the F10. I had my doubts but this sure is a looker! There are some things about the design that I don't like such as the flat nosed front end, but I guess we're stuck with these designs going forward thanks to EU pedestrian standards. Will definitely consider this car once I'm done with my E92. Great job BMW!

You can already get a E93 M3 around ~$90K with options today. My prediction is that new M4 will be 80-110K range for a well optioned car....especially if BMW starts offering engine performance packs & etc

I think BMW would be making a big mistake if they increase the price a lot like some are saying. I mean, why pay for this, if you can get a Porsche Cayman for the same price? The new Cayman looks awesome and it's a design that started off as a 2-door design from the very start. Not a metamorphous of some 4 door door design. Plus, chicks automatically get wet when you say you own a Porsche. And please don't mention the back seat, because no true friend puts his friends in such a crampted space while they drive in comfort. Also, Audi is probably hoping BMW does raise the price a lot. It would make their A5 or S5 look that much more desirable and a bargain by comparison.

It looks great from the side. Can't say the same from the front, or back. Those overly worked bumpers just don't do it for me. Simple is better.

This car is supposed to markets against an Audi s5 which optioned is between 50-60k. Why would they price it at something insane like 80k

I'm afraid I've just been priced out of 3er/4er coupe territory by BMW without even having seen a price sheet.
My E92 335i LCI was about $50k with M-Sport/Nav etc. The idea was to transition into the new F32 at the end of next summer when it became available to purchase. The overall look and marketing push on this does not make me think I can even get close to the equivalent of my current car in it's new "4" form. I'm really thinking an equivalent vehicle with the "bigger" engine option will cost 58-60k. BMW is making a big deal about pushing this as a premium vehicle. You don't step on a legacy like the 3 series unless you expect to really shake up the way things have been in terms of customer expectation/pricing. They are shooting to compete with significantly more expensive cars than the current 3 series coupe with this vehicle. All that being said, I'd love to be proven wrong, but it's looking like an F30 for me next summer ![]() |

LOL at all the "might as well buy a GTR/650i/Cayman/Z06 comments.
You can get a 335i stickered at $61K, and you can a 2013 M3 stickered at $61K. Two different cars, with two levels of equipment. You load up a Cayman like you'd load up a $65K 435i, and see if that doesn't tip $80K. |

Bumpers look absolute ass. Sorry, but would not want to be seen in this F32. Perhaps other versions will be available.
However, overall proportions look like a good platform for the M4. |

+1. I wager that we're looking at a decked-out 440i M-sport here with a few conceptual exaggerations! |

Having said that, the "concept version" is simply stunning. All the way up to 11! (read: will never make it in it's current form to production).
Brace yourself for some disappointment next month in Detroit. |

The previously spied production 4 Series coupe is a 435i or 440i (split tail pipes).
