Bimmertech Apple CarPlay adtermarket

Has anyone installed the BimmerTech MMI kit to add Apple CarPlay? If so, are you happy with the way it works? It looks like an easy and affordable upgrade.

its terrible compared to joyeauto, unichip, or unique-ad.
features-wise its a generation behind.
quality-wise, mine was terrible and had to be returned.
also their customer service was terrible.
