I bought these new in 2016 from my local BMW dealership (I believe it was around $1000 new) and used it for about 10k miles. No paddle shifter/heated steering. Nice thick and soft Alcantara leather steering wheel.

I have a 328i non m. Is this a direct swap with the air bag ? No paddle shifter necessary?

I would suggest taking some pictures of the cleaned wheel. To be honest the original pics you have taken show that the wheel has been greatly worn.
