DP/CP/FMIC Install - average price?

How much should you expect to pay for VRSF Charge Pipe, Catless DP, and Intercooler installation?

I know each has been discussed individually, but just assuming there is some benefit to getting CP and FMIC installed at same time to save in labor cost.

The CP you can do yourself, it's very easy. Intercooler can be done as well and even easier with someone helping you out. Put the front of the car on jack stands and use a jack to help hold up the charge pipes. I'd say 1hr for FMIC/CP and maybe the same for DP

I had an exhaust shop quote me 2 hours just for DP and dealer 3.5 hours. I ended up doing it with my mechanic buddy and we got it done in 90 minutes with a lift.

If all goes well you could do FMIC/CP in 90-120 min yourself. I’m sure a shop that does these all the time could do it in 60-90 minutes.

Damn. So you’re looking at 8-10 hours for all 3 likely. Best I can recommend is try posting in your regional forum and see if anyone can recommend somewhere close they trust and has good rates.

Invest in a decent jack and jack stands. They can be used for other things you know you will eventually want to do to your car.

3 hrs for each if you bring them one by one. They can't think we are that stupid.... come on now. We found a good job to afford this car. I'm not going to get dupe by some mechanic.

This. Besides, these days there is a lot of info on youtube, and if its not, its somewhere on these forums. Just do some research and get to wrenching .

I see you're in orange county -- have you contacted SSR or EAS for quotes?

I watched that video as well. If you are only installing the vrsf 5” HD FMIC you don’t need to take the bumper off. I put that on my 328ix with no issues just removing the belly pan. I stripped one of the torx screws trying to take it off but other than that if you can use a screw driver you can do this install.
