Interesting, the FEM_01 ECU contains a settings called:
steuerung_vibration_lenkrad, which in English means: control vibration steering wheel. It is initialized to 1. Would the wheel be vibrating even more when set to false? Any volunteers to test his? (i will not ) |

What Integration Level (I-Step Current) do you show for your car in E-Sys?

I am not sure. I have to look for instructions for checking it (I know I have seen them in this thread). But I checked the cheat sheet for F30 and I did not find HU_CIC module in my data. There is HU_NBT. I will post I-Step as soon as I find out.

Go to Expert Mode, VCM, select the VCM Master Tab, and read Your I-Step, and tell me what I-Step Current shows.

When did you pick your car up from the Dealership?

Well, 47.5 has only 006_006_001 in it. I suspect that the 006_006_002 you have is part of 47.7, which was just pushed to the Dealers, and that your Dealer reprogrammed you car.
What do you show for I-Step Last and I-Step Shipment?

I tried to get BMW live working.
My car is equiped with prof nav, enhanced blue tooth, hardware preparation for BMW Assist and BMW onlie. I change the value of ONLINE_BROWSER_LIVE to aktiv, and tried to combine this (second attempt) with SIM_ENABLED_MB -> CSIM. THe menu with BMW services (EN: connected drive?) changed. Internet was replaced by BMW live, but it reported it could not show the start screen. When renewing the service capabilities (last option in menu) a connection to my iPhone 3GS with iOS6 was established (thetering), but the connection was never ever created again. Apparently, some other setting instructs the car to not use my iPhone. Don't know what that is, but as the car can connect to my phone, i assume the required setting must be somewhere. Also tried to see RC_DEFAULT_UNLOCK_AT_OPEN_LID1 could keep the car locked when unlocking the boot. But there was no effect: car unlocks completly (the comment on this setting suggests otherwise). Or maybe a sedan has a LID2 instead of a LID1? |

Ok. So that is inconclusive.
I believe for the F20, I-Level F020-12-07-533 could be achieved with either ISTA/P 2.47.5 or ISTA/P 2.47.7, which is a common occurrence where one I-Level has multiple ISTA/P's. So, I think the factory put 2.47.5 on it and the dealer updated it to 2.47.7, but the Integration Level was, and remains, F020-12-07-533. My F10 has 47.7 on it, and it too is at Integration Level F010-12-07-533. So, now it's a waiting game until the 47.7 PSdZData becomes available.

I am having an issue reading the CAS module on a F10 using PSdZ 47.5 and E-sys 3.18.4 - I can read other modules and have successfully reprogrammed their codes.
Code:
Transaktions-Report: Aktion: Codierdaten lesen CAS [40] [C772755] readCPS o.k. cafd_0000000f-005_024_221 Fehler: File for "cafd_0000000f-005_024_221" not found! [C012] |

I'm also having a "missing file issue". I'm missing:
cafd_000000794_004_122_077. My I-step level is F020-12-07-533. Any ideas for me? Otherwise I am loving coding! cheers Andrew |
