Having driven the new 5 series. I would be hard pushed to buy a 4GC. The 5 is light years ahead in fit and finish and tech

Not as good as a 4 series. But I wouldn't say ugly.

It's not ugly in my opinion. That said, you can't also compare the build and finish of a 5-series to a 3 or 4-series as it's comparing apples to oranges.
For me, I need a four-door with decent boot space etc. as I have a 8 and a 3 year old. When my PCP comes to end in July, I'll be looking to price up a 530i (ideally a 540i) along with a 440i GC and the X3 M40i. And based on which one has the best deal and spec., I will probably go with that one. In order of preference if money wasn't an object, I would say X3 M40i, 540i, then 440i GC. |

The new 5 is just to big for me, I had an F11 and it went because navigating town centres and parking became tiresome. Great car if you do a lot of mileage though.

Ridiculous how they list all the things below as “new for the M Sport individual model”, but only 4 of those things weren’t already standard on the M Sport! The 4 series would have to be massively cheaper than the G20 for anyone to consider buying what is a very outdated car now, Peugeot headlights and ridiculous looking grilles aside, the G20 will be a far better car in every way.

My 440 is 3 years old in April. This isn't making me want to replace it.
S5 or C43 anyone? Or wait for the M340.

I've replaced with a 67 plate 335d touring,440i still on drive to VT'd in Feb. Loved it, but I wasn't gettin new one, especially as no mppsk available anymore, the 335d is an interesting story which I will post when I have sorted it.. I'm waiting till I can get a m340i touring a year old...think I'll want to change before they bring out next gen m440i |

I'm not sure I want to wait until 2021 or 22 for a M440. When is the M340 available for order?
