F30 340i - Modified Dinan Midpipe for M Performance Exhaust (MPE)

I've decided to sell my Dinan midpipe, which I had modified to fit the M Performance Exhaust. If you're not aware, the Dinan midpipe is only made to fit the factory muffler. I took a leap of faith and cut the end of it off and had my local fabrication shop adapt it so it could bolt up to the MPE.

Being that I'm catless, it was a tad too loud for my taste. It sounded awesome and I sorta regret taking it off, but I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too. My loss is your gain. If you have an MPE, this will bolt right up and I'm even throwing in the included clamps needed.

Really don't want to ship, but if you want to cover some of the cost I will. I'm located on Long Island, NY.

Oh man. I'm from the area, but don't have an MPE! Good luck man. I have an alpine white as well.

Easy fix. Have the shop expand the stock factory exhaust inlet to mate up to the Dinan unit. It would literally take minutes...and any reputable shop could do it. This shouldn't deter any serious buyer at all. GLWS OP, I have the same Combe except with the stock rear and ER DP. Sounds awesome.

Thanks, but unfortunately i have a lease so I prefer to keep it as close to bolt on as possible.

Exactly, thanks for the kind words. If I could do it all over again, I'd probably run the same setup with the stock rear muffler.

Yep, that's exactly why I modified this so I didn't have to touch the MPE. I'm leasing also so I wanted everything to be 100% reversible.

What makes you think You wouldn't be able to reinstall the factory midpipe. It has to be welded on anyways

Was referring to the install. Yeah the stock would be to be welded back on at the end of the lease.

Thanks for chiming in everyone.

Yeah, this is a sort of unicorn setup. Really only going to work as a bolt in affair for someone running the MPE on a 340i.

Hmm going to keep an eye on this since my car is entering production next week and wanted to add a MPE to the 340. This would be great so i dont have to cut since its a lease.

Sure thing, I'm not in a rush to sell it so I'll probably still have it!
