B58 whistle, Turbo? PCV?

Here is a YouTube video of the sound. Thinking it’s the turbo. Maybe a leak somewhere? Or turbo going bad?

2017 440i GC with 92k miles.

BMW reimbursed me $2500 for my PCV covered by 15 year/150k miles extended warranty, take it to the dealer to see if they will replace it free of charge. The part itself isn't expensive but they only sell it as part of the entire valve cover, and parts and labor cost $$$.

I just replaced my cover not even 20k miles ago. If this is a PCV failure I’m just gonna do a delete. First I need to determine what it is.

from my research some of the cheaper chinese diaphragms, the orange ones i believe, aren’t great quality and can definitely tear in 20k miles. not saying thats your issue, but a possibility none the less.

I did it before the whole warranty thing came out. As general maintenance at 70k miles.

You can still get reimbursed. I got it done because my valve cover did have minor seepage and the SA said it wasn’t really a big deal but I might want to do it eventually and it did smell like oil. But since I did have the PCV issue I submitted claim and was reimbursed.
