Inside Performance- Split exit exhaust system for 335d- anyone tried it?
http://www.insideperformance.de/onli...roducts_id/228
I am interested in this exhaust for my F31 335d. No one on the UK forum seems to have tried, so I thought I would try here. Any feedback or information would be appreciated. I'm not expecting a big change in noise, it is a diesel after all, but would like to make sure that it's not a bad noise when cruising. It looks good in the pictures, but anyone who has seen for real and can comment on the looks and fitting, then I would be grateful for your thoughts?

Hi, I have it on my 335d F30 LCI, it makes no difference in sound. Fitting: 1) you have to cut your OEM exhaust somewhere around rear axis 2) you have to buy differnt mountings for the exhaust, because with the original it was too low from the bumper and both sides weren't it same height With OEM mountings: With aftermarket mountings (and different tips): I also changed exhaust tips, because the original from Inside performace were too large and I didn't like the quality. I chose these and they look great and the quality is also very high (just mind it just one piece, so order two exhaust tips)! The mounting should have more holes, I bought this mountings and they are OK Hope my comment will be useful

Thanks! Can't believe it took 3 years for a reply!
Eventually I had a custom exhaust made and didn't bother with having any back box- so just straight through pipes and split to each side. Sounds ever so slightly better, but not much, and you can hear the dpf regen happening more easily. Best thing is it only cost £400 so less than half what that one cost.
