Damaged wing mirror.

As the title, I was backing onto the drive when the house jumped out at me knocking into my nearside wing mirror. The glass has cracked and the cover fell off. I've also smashed all the black plastic on the underneath. Thankfully all the dipping and moving still work. Has anyone any idea of cost for a replacement before I contact the Steelers. I've no pictures as I've gaffer taped it all back up, but it looks sh1te

The black plastic is about £20 IIRC, I scuffed mine and replaced it; just make sure you order the right one as there are loads or variants depending on surround view etc.

Can't comment on the actual glass but I believe it's £££££ if autodimming

I can confirm the underside part is £25.12 delivered including vat from Ocean Plymouth via EBay.

I only scratched that part as in BMW’s wisdom made that part the proudest bit!

I did mine when it was 2 weeks old. Fortunately managed to piece a new one together from Ebay listings for about 100 quid all in, if I remember correctly. Damn lot cheaper than 500 notes.

I've got a spare nearside mirror glass (dimming). I over provisioned when modding my car to what it should have been. PM me if interested.

GEP77, thanks for that but thankfully I don't need a dimming mirror just a normal one
