Picked mine up this morning after its ceramic coating. Looks even better in the flesh.

Hi all,

Here is my 340i Shadow Edition touring, had it around two weeks.

It's Citrin Black with Cognac interior + brushed aluminium trim.

Professional Media with Digital cockpit
Advanced parking package
Comfort package
Extended Bluetooth, WiFi and carplay
Leather Dash
Adaptive suspension
Sun roof
Folding mirrors

So far I'm loving the digital dash. My Dad came over with his G30 530d today and the dash in that was pretty much the same. The whole interior of the G30 was a bit better, but didn't feel like a step change. Only the manual hand brake feels really old school in my car, the rest of the interior still feels mostly up to date to me. The cognac interior is a bit dramatic, it's pretty much orange. I like it, but it's in your face.

Don't really have a view on the driving dynamics as I've only done a few miles and I've been babying it due to the running in, but the car feels like it's high quality. I love the sound of the engine (not exhaust, the actual noise the engine makes), I had a e36 evo M3 ages ago, and this is the first BMW 6 I've had since (I have a 850i with a 12 ). There is a really distinctive sound to the engine that I love. The exhaust seems super quiet, even in Sport+, does it get louder?

The individual Citrin black is just black really, but does look a bit brown/gold in certain lights. I expected it to be subtle and it is.

Enjoying the car and all the touring party tricks so far, looking forward to it being run in.

Exclamation

Off topic, but important....
I recently insisted my BMW dealership check for EGR Cooler failure whilst my car was in for service after coolant went low twice with no warning and with no apparent escape! Coolant pressure test was ok; technician diagnosed egr Cooler failure & the dealership are raising a claim case with BMW even though my build doesn't currently appear on the UK BMW EGR Cooler recall technical campaign!
More info here: https://www.bmw.co.uk/landingpages/b...e-recalls#gref
And here: https://www.bmwblog.com/2018/10/23/b...lion-vehicles/
My build is a 2014 F31 320D N47 efficientDynamics auto
My advice; if you're coolant goes low for no apparent reason; take it to a dealership & demand a test regardless of whether your build is on a recall list or not, & fight your corner before anything catastrophic & costly occurs! Congratulations on the new car, loving the interior. The B58 is a nice engine, if your car was built post June 2018 (I think) it will have to comply with the new EU emission regs. These cars tend to be a bit more muted than the ones built before the rules changed unfortunately

Got to love a touring! I started with an E91 and recently made the jump to the F31.

Not my car (pic taken from US Bimmerpost). Love his pics. Mine is the same colour.
I prefer the touring over the saloon but with two kids and two Labradors I wouldn't have much choice anyway.

No issues, no rubbing, car is lowered on H&R springs.

Lots of people claim that F8x wheels don’t fit. These are people who have made zero attempt to research & fit them.

They fit perfectly, but the stance is agrsssive & suits a lowered car much better!

You also need to consider tyre sizes if you are an xDrive owner!

They are impossible to find.

You will have to buy some on eBay.de & get them shipped over.

I’ve just taken mine off & listed them for sale - agreed a deal with someone straight away!

yeah it seems to be that way. I assume the other M3/4 wheels are the same width offset etc.
